Min Hee-jin Breaks Silence Post-ADOR Exit: “I Don’t Like Being Interfered With When It Comes To Direction”

On December 6, Min Hee-jin attended the Hanwha General Insurance X FOL:IN talk concert titled “Women Who Became a Genre.” The event is a platform where women who have carved out their own paths in society share deep insights and experiences about finding their authenticity. Min Hee-jin participated under the theme, “Planner Min Hee-jin: Crossing Boundaries to Become a K-pop Genre.”

She began her talk by stating, “Living with conviction isn’t easy,” adding, “I’ve faced a lot of criticism recently.” She continued, “I’ve been attacked with fabricated claims. I can’t go around saying, ‘That’s a lie,’ all the time. Instead, I have to carry the unfairness and prove myself through my work, actions, and genuine self.”

Discussing her current situation, she remarked, “Unimaginable lies are being spread about me. Honestly, I might be in a tougher place than any of you here,” expressing her distress. She added, “It has become like a religious war. Even if you speak the truth, people don’t believe it. People believe what they want to believe, but time will reveal who’s telling the truth.”

ADOR Continues Promoting NewJeans Despite Dispute, Will Min Hee-jin Speak Up in Public Appearance?

Speaking about her strengths, Min Hee-jin shared, “I’m good at drawing the big picture.”

She explained, “I quickly sketch out key elements like roadmaps, milestones, and inflection points. Rather than overthinking, I sketch as if I were doing a croquis and simultaneously work on the details. When it comes to setting directions and creating a vision on a large scale, I dislike being interfered with, that’s how this situation (the HYBE issue) arose.”

Min Hee-jin also said, “Personally, I hope the lawsuits end quickly, and everything gets resolved. But time doesn’t move as I wish. It’s excruciatingly painful, but I endure by reflecting on how to navigate this period and focusing on what I need to do in the future.”

She encouraged attendees by saying, “In your daily lives, don’t let hardships and struggles discourage you too much. It’s more productive to practice and learn how to find happiness. While there are bad people in the world, there are also many good ones.”

On October 20, Min Hee-jin resigned as an internal director of ADOR and left HYBE. She is currently involved in legal disputes with HYBE executives, Belift Lab, and Source Music.

Meanwhile, today (December 6) NewJeans’ Haerin also made her first official appearance following the announcement of her departure from ADOR. It is reported that this schedule had been pre-arranged beforehand. She attended the Dior Beauty Holiday pop-up photo shoot held at Lotte World Mall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on December 6.
