Seo Hyun Jin, Chang Ryul, and TWICE’s Kim Da Hyun will possibly be the main leads of the Korean version of the Swedish drama Love Me.

On November 5, media outlets reported that Seo Hyun Jin, Chang Ryul, and Kim Da Hyun have been picked to lead the upcoming Korean remake of the Swedish series Love Me

The actors’ agencies responded to the circulating casting reports. Seo Hyun Jin’s agency Management SOOP stated, “The actress is positively considering the offer to star in Love Me.” Chang Ryul’s agency also confirmed, “Chang Ryul received the offer and is positively reviewing it.”

Meanwhile, Kim Da Hyun’s agency JYP Entertainment hasn’t shared their side yet.

Love Me will follow the journey of a woman who possesses wealth, appearance, and honor, but lacks true happiness. The story will be depicted from the Swedish drama of the same name.

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of writers Park Eun Young and Park Hee Kwon who also created the K-dramas The Third Charm and I Have Not Done My Best Yet.

Love Me will reportedly begin filming in the first half of 2025.

Seo Hyun Jin received the offer to portray the role of Seo Jun Kyung, a gynecologist. She seems like she has everything but she is a lonely person. She will gradually become better as she builds interactions and feels new emotions. Before Seo Hyun Jin stars in Love Me, she will first make a grand comeback to K-dramas with The Trunk which will premiere this November.

Chang Ryul will reportedly portray the male lead of the series Joo Do Hyun. He is a music director and the boyfriend of Seo Hyun Jin’s character Seo Jun Kyung. If Chang Ryul confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama next year. He will also star in The Love Story of Choon Hwa and Bargain Season 2.

Kim Da Hyun on the other hand will reportedly make her K-drama debut as Yoon Sol. She is a dance crew leader who is a popular figure. If Kim Da Hyun confirms her role, this will be her first official K-drama project. The TWICE member will also make her official debut on the big screen with the upcoming films You Are the Apple of My Eye and Run to You.
