Staff Directly Defended LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae Against Controversy: “I Asked Her to Sign”

On September 2, the performance director of LE SSERAFIM published a status on their personal SNS account, saying, “I thought the sticker was cute, so I asked Eunchae to sign it. Please don’t misunderstand.”

They added, “I carry it around every day holding it with pride, so don’t worry. And I’m not selling it, so please don’t covet it. Please show lots of interest for ‘CRAZY’.”

This statement addresses the controversy that emerged online on September 1. Particularly, to celebrate LE SSERAFIM’s comeback, Eunchae placed stickers featuring her face and the title of their new song on staff members’ tumblers, laptops, and other belongings. The staff members then shared photos of these items on their personal accounts to promote the song in a playful manner.

Although this was a lighthearted gesture between close colleagues, some netizens began to accuse Eunchae of being thoughtless for “ruining” other people’s personal belongings with stickers and her signature. However, the staff members themselves expressed their affection for Eunchae, saying, “My laptop is full of traces of Eunchae” and “She took over while I wasn’t looking. Eunchae, be happy.”
