According to the Year-End Charts released by Billboard on December 13 (KST), Stray Kids (including 8 members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N) ranked 73rd on the Top Artists chart – the highest position ever achieved by a K-pop group.
On the annual Billboard 200 albums chart, the group secured two spots: “樂-STAR (Rock-Star)” ranked 123rd, and “ATE” ranked 139th. Notably, in the Top Album Sales category, “樂-STAR” claimed 4th place and “ATE” at 9th place, marking the highest rankings ever for a Korean artist. Additionally, Stray Kids dominated other categories, achieving 1st and 2nd places on the World Albums chart, 1st place in the World Albums Artists category, 2nd place in Top Album Sales Artists, and 4th place in both the Top Artists – Duo/Group and Billboard 200 Artists – Duo/Group categories.
On December 12, Stray Kids also captured global attention with their appearance at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs). After winning the Top K-Pop Album award at last year’s ceremony, they took home the Top Global K-Pop Artist award this year.
On December 13, the group released a new album, SKZHOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP)”, and its title track, “Walkin On Water”. The music video for the new song quickly soared to No. 1 on YouTube’s Music Video Trending Worldwide chart, showcasing their global influence.
Currently, Stray Kids are in the midst of their world tour, Stray Kids World Tour “dominATE”, which features a total of 48 performances across 32 cities, including massive stadium concerts in 25 locations worldwide. The tour has been met with tremendous success, further solidifying the group’s status as global icons.
