Despite her brother pretty obviously alluding to her for a while now, I hesitated to bring up the late Sulli during all of this Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron news. However, now he’s released a statement with a request for answer from Kim Soo Hyun

About a week ago, Sulli’s brother vaguely posted on Instagram, “Kim-ssi, I have a lot to say, but I can’t. You’re going to fall from your high position, so you better hold on tight.” People assumed this was about Kim Soo Hyun, including his fans, and the brother responded to those who were angry at him shortly after.
A couple days later, he posted, “My life, your life, all of our lives are ‘Real.’” Earlier today, he posted “Sadist.” in another Instagram post, followed that up with saying, “It’s been six years since my sister’s been gone. Six years since you’ve played around with her. Now there’s six years of pain that you will receive. Don’t break down too soon.” I think it was beyond obvious at that point what it was all about.
And so the most recent update is Sulli’s brother has come out with a statement to the media seeking answers about ‘Real’. He mentions the Kim Sae Ron situation as the reason for speaking out.
“We spent the last six years in grief, yet were grateful for the support from many,” he said, “But in light of the recent tragedy involving Kim Sae-ron, I could no longer remain silent as if this wasn’t related to us.”
He then raised three questions towards Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin Lee Sa Rang about the bed scenes and nudity in the movie.
1. Bed scene not included in the original script
According to A, based on testimonies from staff and actors at the funeral of Sulli, the bed scene between Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun was not originally specified in the script. He requested that Kim Soo-hyun clarify this matter.
2. Use of a Body Double
A mentioned that a body double was present on the day of Sulli filming a nude scene, yet the production chose not to use the double and instead persuaded Sulli to perform the bed and nude scenes herself. He demanded an explanation for this decision.
3. Contradiction About the Body Double’s Absence
It was claimed that the body double was unable to attend due to illness, but according to accounts from people at the funeral, the double was actually on set. Mr. A asked both Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Sa-rang to clarify this discrepancy.
He said he sincerely hoped for a response to these concerns, and that he expressed support for Kim Sae Ron’s family.
A also shared that he recently contacted the Korean Association for the Prevention of Celebrity Suicides, expressing his support for Kim Sae-ron’s family and his hope that they find peace despite attacks from figures like controversial YouTuber Lee Jin-ho. He went further, stating that he is willing to personally meet with Kim Sae-ron’s family to share in their pain.
Meanwhile, Kwon Young-chan, head of the Korean Association for the Prevention of Celebrity Suicides, stated, “Although it’s late, we extend our sincere condolences to Sulli’s family once again”, adding, “Please stop insulting or harassing the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron with malicious comments.”
Understandably, this has brought back criticisms of the ‘Real’ promotions, which used Sulli’s nude scenes as a selling point. It also caused question about whether she truly wanted to do them or was just pressured into them by Kim Soo Hyun and/or his cousin.
Either way, this just gets worse and worse, and I just hope everything can get exposed at least.
