On April 9, Hyerim posted a photo of the front of the Seoul Mapo Police Station to her Instagram Story, along with the caption, “Let’s catch them.” She also shared details of the fraud report she filed. It appears that Hyerim fell victim to a scam during a direct online purchase.

Previously, in March, Hyerim expressed her frustration after being scammed while trying to buy children’s books. “I can’t believe I fell for an online scam. Ugh, I can’t sleep. If you have that much energy to scam people, use it to work honestly. Don’t live your life like that,” she wrote angrily.
Meanwhile, Hyerim married taekwondo athlete Shin Min-chul in 2020. The couple has two sons.
