On December 27, actor Yoon Hee-seok expressed his longing for Lee Sun-kyun, “Sun-kyun, we laughed and walked together in the same moments, but now you’ve paused time and become a star. You remain in the most beautiful and radiant moment, while I continue living in time’s flow, missing you with my wrinkles, gray hairs, and growing belly.”
He added, “The time you stopped has become a precious memory. Today, I meet you in those memories, and even after a year, the longing remains vivid. Your life was truly extraordinary, and the moments we shared will live forever in everyone’s hearts. Rest peacefully there until we meet again.”
Yoon Hee-seok marked Lee Sun-kyun’s first death anniversary by visiting his grave. Numerous bouquets, photos of the late actor, and mementos at the site captured attention.
Meanwhile, Lee Sun-kyun faced allegations of drug use last October. Although he protested his innocence during the police investigation, he was found deceased in a parking lot in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on December 27, just two months later. He was 48 years old.
