Yulhee Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Comments Following Divorce from FT Island’s Choi Minhwan

On November 22, Yulhee shared news of filing lawsuits against malicious commenters in a video posted on her YouTube channel, Yulhee’s Home. The video, titled VLOG: Living Simply and Busy These Days, detailed her decision to take legal action against online harassment.

In the video, Yulhee revealed, “I’m heading to a meeting regarding the lawsuits against malicious commenters.” She explained, “Being in a profession where I present myself to the public, I’ve always had to accept that various opinions exist. However, seeing the recent malicious comments, I’ve realized that tolerating them has only made the attacks more severe. This pushed me to take legal action.”

She elaborated, “You might dislike my actions or decisions, but such criticism is different from personal attacks or sexual harassment, which we often call thoughtless malicious comments. I believe it’s right to respond to such comments through legal means without leniency.”

Yulhee also expressed gratitude to those reporting the comments: “Many people are sending reports of malicious comments to my company email, and I’ve also received direct messages. I think it’s time to address each case firmly.”

Yulhee married Choi Minhwan in 2018, and the couple had three children together before divorcing last year. Following their divorce, rumors surrounding the split spread widely. Yulhee took to her YouTube channel to reveal that the decisive factors for their separation included Minhwan’s alleged inappropriate behavior during their marriage. She claimed that Minhwan sexually harassed her in front of his parents and frequented entertainment establishments.

Currently, Minhwan has halted all activities due to the backlash from Yulhee’s allegations. Meanwhile, Yulhee has initiated custody and property division lawsuits against him.
