Bang Si-hyuk and Min Hee-jin Spotted Together in China?

On October 30th, multiple online communities and social media platforms saw the spread of posts titled “Bang Si-hyuk and Min Hee-jin Spotted in China.”

Several photos included in these posts captured two people who perfectly replicated the viral outfits of Chairman Bang and former CEO Min.

In the uploaded photos, the person channeling Chairman Bang Si-hyuk was a black t-shirt and beige pants with glasses, while the one imitating former CEO Min Hee-jin drew attention with a green striped t-shirt and blue hat, reminding people of Min Hee-jin’s “press conference look.”

These photos have also spread to Korean online communities, generating significant discussion.

Netizens have expressed various opinions, such as “This really shows the incredible influence of K-pop. Everyone recognizes who they’re supposed to be even with just those outfits,” “It’s quite fitting for a Halloween concept,” and “Is it appropriate to parody two people who are in conflict?”

Meanwhile, on October 29th, Seoul Central District Court’s Civil dismissed the provisional injunction filed by former CEO Min Hee-jin against HYBE regarding her reappointment as CEO. While Min Hee-jin had requested HYBE, ADOR’s parent company and major shareholder, to reappoint her as ADOR’s CEO in future board meetings, the court ruled it “an inadmissible application lacking legal interest.”

Subsequently, Min Hee-jin’s legal representative, Sejong Legal, claimed on the same day that “The court did not make a judgment on the validity of the shareholders’ agreement” and argued that “The shareholders’ agreement between HYBE and former CEO Min remains valid.”

Min Hee-jin’s side also stated, “We will actively consider exercising rights related to HYBE’s violation of the shareholders’ agreement if HYBE and its appointed ADOR directors violate the agreement by not reappointing Min Hee-jin as CEO.”

As this suggests the possibility of legal action against HYBE regarding the shareholders’ agreement, observers predict that the uncomfortable coexistence between former CEO Min Hee-jin, who remains an internal director at ADOR, and HYBE will continue for the time being.
