The brand reputation index is a metric created through big data analysis of brand-related online consumer behavior, indicating how consumers’ online habits greatly influence brand consumption. The girl group brand reputation index measures the positive and negative evaluations of each group, media interest, consumer interest, and interaction volume. It also includes channel analysis from the brand reputation monitor.
The top 30 in the November 2024 girl group brand reputation rankings are as follows: BLACKPINK, aespa, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, FIFTY FIFTY, Red Velvet, TWICE, OH MY GIRL, NMIXX, BABYMONSTER, fromis_9, ILY:1, PURPLE KISS, tripleS, H1-KEY, MAMAMOO, STAYC, Apink, ITZY, Girls’ Generation, Dreamcatcher, Girl’s Day, MIYAO, cignature, Kep1er, WJSN, LISSEN, EXID, and APRIL.
Goo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, “In the link analysis for BLACKPINK’s brand, ‘record-breaking, enjoyable, joyful’ scored high, and in the keyword analysis, ‘Rosé, apartment, syndrome’ scored high. The positive ratio for BLACKPINK’s brand was analyzed at 94.58% in the positive-negative ratio analysis.”
