On October 16th, actress Han Ga-in conducted a live broadcast titled “[First Ever] Han Ga-in Meokbang – Scorched Rice with 5 Different Types of Kimchi” on her YouTube channel “Han Ga-in Is Free.”
During the broadcast, Han Ga-in candidly said, “My soul and shell don’t match. I thought it was a wrong meeting,” adding, “I think the time has come when I can shed my shell. I’ve waited 20 years to do YouTube.”
She also showed her unique desire for comedy, saying, “When I first met our PD, I felt hurt because he thought I was not a funny person.”
While communicating with subscribers through real-time comments, Han Ga-in expressed her difficulty in responding to appearance compliments, saying, “I don’t know how to react to compliments about my looks.” However, she failed to gain sympathy from the production team, causing laughter.
Meanwhile, when a viewer asked about the best-looking male celebrity in person, Han Ga-in promptly answered, “It’s Cha Eun-woo,“ and added, “I thought I was going to faint when I saw him in person. He doesn’t seem like a person of this world. His proportions, face, skin tone… I thought, ‘Can someone be that handsome?’”
She also mentioned that she was in awe of his recent fashion brand event photos, calling it a “national glory.”
When the production team compared Cha Eun-woo’s prime with her husband Yeon Jung-hoon’s, Han Ga-in revealed her ideal type, saying, “I like the Lee Jung-jae, Lee Jae-hoon, Yeon Jung-hoon, and Ha Dong-kyun cool type of guys. That line-up is closer to my ideal type. There’s definitely a demand for that line-up too.”
She also added humor by frankly stating, “It would be great to have a son like Cha Eun-woo.”
Continuing on, Han Ga-in named Go So-young as the best-looking female celebrity in person, revealing her admiration by saying, “When I first saw Go So-young, she was really pretty. Having grown up seeing her a lot during school days, she was like a princess to me.”
Responding to a question about Suzy’s looks, whom she co-starred with in the movie “Architecture 101,” Han Ga-in added, “It’s a different kind of prettiness from Go So-young, more feminine and with graceful features. If I had to choose between the two, I think I’m more fond of the (Go So-young-like) beauty type.”
In the same video, the actress also disclosed how she had her first kiss with her husband.
