This fall, high school sweethearts are set for a dramatic reunion 18 years after their painful breakup in Love Your Enemy, a fresh romantic comedy series premiering November 23 on Disney+.
Seok Jiwon and Yoon Jiwon, born on the same day to rival families, defied the odds to fall in love during their final high school summer. But a minor misunderstanding tore them apart, leaving bitter memories. Now, almost two decades later, the two Jiwons find themselves working together, and old rivalries reignite. As they try to sabotage each other, they gradually uncover deeper feelings beyond anger and resentment.
The series stars Ju Jihoon (Light Shop Keeper, Blood Free) as Seok Jiwon, the President of Dokmok High School, and Jung Yumi (Discovery of Love, Train to Busan) as Yoon Jiwon, a P.E. teacher at the same school.
Love Your Enemy is penned by Lim Yejin (The Tale of Nokdu) and directed by Park Joonhwa (What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim), produced by Studio Dragon, a leading Korean content creator.
With Love Your Enemy, Disney+ continues its successful lineup of Korean titles, following hits like Moving, Big Bet, and The Worst of Evil.
In 2024, titles such as A Shop for Killers, Blood Free, and Flex x Cop have been among Disney+ APAC’s top Korean series, with A Shop for Killers leading in views. Disney+ has also announced more exciting Korean originals for later this year and 2025, including *Unmasked*, *Gangnam B-Side*, *Tempest*, *Low Life*, and *Nine Puzzles*.
