Brewing Love Episode 2 Recap
In this episode, Chae Yong-ju is left confused when Yun Min-ju keeps insisting she isn’t okay, despite her own reassurances that she’s fine. Though Yong-ju is hiding her true emotions, she doesn’t understand why a stranger would push so hard to see through her. Realizing he’s overstepped, Min-ju apologizes, and Min-ho finally wins the teddy bear. Min-ho gratefully calls Yong-ju “Ms. Sniper,” and they part ways, both Min-ju and Yong-ju exchanging puzzled glances as they walk away, questioning the strange moment.
Later, Min-ho points out that Min-ju’s reaction to a stranger was uncharacteristic, noting that he usually keeps his emotions tightly controlled. Min-ju, unable to make sense of why he felt such empathy toward Yong-ju, tries to brush off the incident. Meanwhile, Yong-ju returns home, determined not to let her grandmother see her sadness. She tucks her grandmother into bed, silently steeling herself to keep her Likey Busan branch from failing. Her abdomen pain persists, but she pushes through, pretending everything is fine.

The next day, Yong-ju meets the branch manager and crosses paths with the head of Jisang’s marketing team, who proposes she become their team leader and help recruit Min-ju for Jisang. This sets the stage for a competitive race between Yong-ju, now in Jisang’s marketing team with her colleague Beom, and Bang A-reum, the ambitious head of Jisang’s planning team. Both women prepare to win over Min-ju, but with different motives and strategies.
On her first day at Jisang’s head office, Yong-ju is awed by the company’s impressive scale but remains focused on her mission. Alongside Beom, she sets out to find Min-ju in his rural village. Meanwhile, A-reum, having previously encountered only Chan-hwi, returns to meet Min-ju. When she tries to persuade him to join Jisang, he rejects her offer, reading her expression and sensing her intentions. A-reum can’t help but be amused by Chan-hwi’s quirky behavior.
Min-ju attends a meeting at the village head’s shop, only to be surprised by the sight of a Likey delivery truck parked outside. Inside, he taps the shoulder of a woman, only to be startled when it’s none other than Yong-ju. Both are shocked as they realize that Yong-ju had been calling out his name while shooting at the carnival. Feeling overwhelmed, Min-ju tries to leave, but Yong-ju chases after him, desperate to convince him to hear her out. He notices that she’s barefoot and instinctively puts slippers on her feet, bewildered by his own actions.
Driven by confusion over his unexplainable empathy, Min-ju quickly drives away, hoping to create distance. He encounters Yong-ju again on the road, announcing that he plans to block her from approaching him. Yong-ju, who doesn’t understand his habit of emotionally shutting people out, resolves to try one more time. That night, she goes to his house to confront him. Seeing smoke from his meditation room, Yong-ju assumes the worst and, using her cyberforce skills, ropes down from his roof to check on him. Min-ju is shocked to see her hanging outside his window.
Relieved that Min-ju is okay, Yong-ju promises him that she’ll do whatever it takes to work with him. Speechless, Min-ju rushes downstairs to talk to her, only to be stopped by Chan-hwi, who tells him to let her go because her mind isn’t in the right place. Min-ju asks his staff to ensure she stays away, but the two women just laugh, noticing that their usually reserved boss is acting differently around Yong-ju.
The next day, Yong-ju and A-reum run into each other at the village head’s shop. A-reum suggests Yong-ju give up on Min-ju, calling him stubborn and indifferent. Yong-ju, however, declares that she’ll go to any lengths to succeed, impressing A-reum with her determination. To win over the village head, Yong-ju agrees to help out at his shop. But when she tries to approach Min-ju, the head stops her, reminding her of Min-ju’s ban.
Undeterred, Yong-ju wins the head over again by gifting him presents. When Min-ju hears of her persistence, he trusts that his two female staff will prevent her from getting through. But Yong-ju charms them by sharing her story of joining the cyberforce to support her grandmother, touching their hearts. With no one left to stop her, Min-ju takes matters into his own hands.
At the field, Min-ju spots someone on a ladder and assumes it’s one of his staff. But when the figure climbs down, he’s shocked to see Yong-ju. She proudly declares that they’re finally meeting face to face again, leaving Min-ju stunned as the episode ends with them locked in an intense gaze.
